The caring Father

History itself is in God's hands.

That doesn't mean HE always saves us from foolish mistakes or painful tragedies.

But it does mean that when our lives are caught up in the life of Christ, HE guides us in ways that bring us ultimate blessing.

Providence is the almighty and ever present power of GOD by which all things come to us not by chance, but from HIS fatherly hand~

If your year was good and you experienced God's blessings, shout it out loud :" Great is God's faithfulness."

But even if this past year was difficult, and perhaps even filled with "bitterness and gall," say it anyway :"Great is God's faithfulness."

God may not have given us what we asked for at the beginning of this year, and maybe things happened that made life difficult for you, but the truth remains: All we have needed His hand has provided.

Sometimes God has to clobber you,

He wanna straighten you out.

Abba Father,
in Your great love, be the enemy of our old self.
Fight the part of us that is not built on you.

Do whatever it takes for us to truly know You.

Leaky jars

We may yearn to be treated like fne china, but Paul see us as "laeky jars".

We are all fellow sinners, and we cant hide our brokenness, no matter how hard we try.

Seeing ourselves as leaky jars let us breath the deep, fresh air of God's grace and serve in HIS power.

We are all sinners in need of a Saviior.

Father Lord, help us show how much we need YOU as we spread Your grace around.

Speak

Father, we marvel that YOU use broken people like us to speak your truth.
Speak your grace in the way we talk and live.
Make your whole church full of grace.
