The mind is the battlefield

Our thoughts get us into trouble more than anything else. This is because our thoughts are the roots of every word and deed.

In Isaiah 55:8, The Lord says, "for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways" no matter what you or I may think, God has written down His thoughts for us in His book, the bible. We choose to examine our thoughts in the light of His word, always being willing to submit our thoughts to His thoughts, knowing that His are best.

This is exactly the point made in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. Through careful strategy and cunning deceit, Satan attempts to set up stronghold in our minds. A stronghold is an area in which we are held bondage due to the wrong way of thinking. Examine what is in your mind. If it does not agree with God's thought, then cast down your own thoughts and think God's thoughts instead. In order to do this, you must know God's Word well enough to compare your thoughts with what is in the mind of God.

People living in the vanity of their own minds not only destroy themselves, but far too often, they bring destruction to others around them. Those who live by God's truth, on the other hand, are blessed and bring blessing to others.

The mind is the battlefield!

On the battleground of the mind you will either win or lose the war against that Satan has launched against you. My heartfelt prayer is that you will cast down imaginations and every high and lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity, into obedience to Jesus Christ so that you can live in Victory, joy and peace.

Dear God Father,

Do wash away all the unkind and evil things from us. Cleanse us in our mindset and our conversation with others.Guide us in everything we do, plan and work in the glory of YOUR name.

O God, give us wisdom so that we will know what is wrong and what is right. We wish to behave more like JESUS than ourselves. We wish to be YOUR obedience children and become the light and salts for people around us.

In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Father, we trust in You, we know You are good, we know You love us, and All things work for good for those who love Him. Father, give us strength to stay solid, stable, even when fear come, we will not react emotionally, but we seek You and know Your ways. We know the devil, the accuser of the brethren is defeated because we know who we are in Christ when I stay fearless in their attack. Father, give us faith to go through it, we will have a good attitude of trust and patience, we know You have something great installed for us at the end of this setback. In Jesus name, Amen

Father, You are always real, always faithful, and we know You will never leave us alone. Father, teach us to be sensitive to You, and acknowledge that You play an active role in everything we do. We know when we acknowledge You, You will guide our action, our words, our minds, and our heart. Renew our minds each day, lead us to conform to Your ways, to think the way You want us to think and act. Thank you for the Grace you have provided. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Something's in life is not to meant to be understood.

Proverbs 3:5-7 say "Don't rely on your own understanding, instead, acknowledge Him with thanksgiving, and He will direct your path"

"But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what the molded say to it's molder, "why have you made me this like?" Has the potter no rights over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honourable use, another for dishonourable use?" Romans 9:20 (ESV)

Mary didn't know why she is chosen to be the mother of Jesus.. Imagine the trouble that she went through being pregnant before getting married to Joseph, the shame, having to face persecution from everyone who think that the child is born of wedlock...But, she was obedient to that calling, And God showed favour on her, making her the most blessed women in the bible

Job was the richest man that time.. He lost everything, friends and also family.. Everything that needs to be right, all become wrong. Everyone ask him to just curse God and die. He didn't, he continue to humble himself, giving God thanksgiving, even in moment when I don't know what to give thank for.. But because he didn't give up, God show him His glory. And repay all his inheritance 2x more..

The devil knows you are getting stronger and growing in love with God, he can't stand it.. he attacks you, bringing you to your knees. The more you endure, the stronger you will be.

"God will not test you beyond your own abilities, He will provide a way to escape" 1 Corinthians 10:13

"You will pull me out of the trap they have laid for me, for you are my refuge"Psalms 31:4

Joseph was without a reason, sold to be a slave, put into prison for a false accusation. Many many years in prison had pass before he was given a way out.. And found favour with pharaoh and become a blessing to His fellow family and also the isrealites in the famine.

"Faith to be tested like gold to proof it is genuine" 1 Peter 1:7

Don't give up on God, He knows what you are going through, He has the solution to the problem, and He will give us strength to endure the test. We can tell the World that we are Christians, but our faith in Him must be tested to see whether we still have faith in Him. Even when circumstance are not right. It's a growing process.

"Our light and momentary aufering will produce in us an eternal glory that is greater than everything you can ever imagine."2 Corinthians 4:17,

"After you have suffered a little while, the God of grAce who has call us to His external Glory through Chirst will restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you" 1 Peter 5:10

Greater things is on the way... God is preparing you for something great. Look back at your circumstances and give it a smile. I have been there before. I know how to handle this. I don't need to understand why. But I know my God is great. And He will fight my battles.

"The step of a good man are ordered by The Lord, and he delights in His ways. Through he may fall, but He will not forsake him. For The Lord uphold his hands" Pslams 37:23

"All Things happen for GOOD for those who LOVE The Lord" Romans 8:28

Philippians 1:6

"And I'm convinced and sure of this very thing, He who begun a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return), developing (that good work) and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you."

Do not be discouraged with yourself just because you have not arrived at a place of perfection in your thoughts and behaviour.

God would not be angry with you if He came back today and found you just as you are, as long as He sees that you have the right attitude and are cooperating with the work He is doing in you. 

He knows you are a work in progress- and you will be for as long as you live.
